So much rain lately. I usually love the rain but it is causing the river to rise a bit and if it keeps up as much as it has been we could be looking at flooding again which would not be good in the least. Ah well the showers are definitely bringing May Flowers. We have beautiful green trees and grass as well as blossoms blooming all over. The start of June and things are looking great for the summer. The eldest three of my youngest cousins have arrived for the summer to participate in the summer performing arts program that takes place in Grand Forks. It is a great thing to have happen especially for my parents because they will have teenagers in the house like crazy again. I'm happy for them. Very happy for them. My dad is going to be teaching them to play the guitar and my mom is going to be teaching the two girls how to knit all while they are also learning their parts for the musicals that they are going to be performing in and traveling for a weekend to Colorado City for a Family Reunion. It is going to be a busy summer but that is the best kind. I am going to be seeing a lot of family and that is going to be wonderful.
Oh great now I want to cry because my dad has a song playing that always makes me think of my Grandma L. when it plays and her memory disk of pictures that was put together when she was put into the nursing home when her mind really started going. "Remember When" by Alan Jackson. My dad is learning to play his guitar to the song and so he has the music with the words playing along with it while he is strumming along and has it repeating. That and thinking of the family reunion and seeing most of the L. family and my Grandpa L. without her just makes me want to cry right now but at least she is no longer suffering. At least she is happy and celebrating life in heaven. I'm always sad when I think of my grandma but it is a good sad that I don't think will ever leave, it is always that way with a loved one I believe. Remember When is a fitting song for my Grandma and Grandpa L.
Well I've done enough procrastinating today from my studies for my one online class that I'm taking this summer and must get back to things so that I can get caught up before the test next week. Now that I have the text book things will be easier. Everyone have a wonderful weekend.
