Life as we know it
Life as my husband and I know it is going to change any day now. We just celebrated our first wedding anniversary and today welcomed our newest nephew into the family. Soon it will be time to welcome our own little bundle of joy into the family. I am so looking forward to this event, actually so much so that I am a little jealous that my sister-in-love has her little one already. :) Been having a lot less energy lately to get things done though I wish that were different because I look around the apartment and think of all the different things that I need to accomplish. Perhaps this afternoon I will get an energy spike and be able to get some of it accomplised. Life has changed dramatically already and will only change more as the days continue to pass. I am looking forward to the end of next month when family will be gathering to celebrate the life time of happiness that my grandparents have had together. 80 years old this year and 60 years of marriage together in life. I am hoping to make it with my husband and new little one when ever that little one comes. I am hoping soon to be holding that little one in my arms. Anyway have to get ready for lunch with my sweetie.

Preparing the nest
Things have been very crazy since my last post. We are now in a two bedroom apartment instead of a one. We now have room for a little bundle do to arrive in May. We have even prepared the nursery, or at least started it. We still have a lot of unpacking to do but it has been going on. My sweetie and I went to San Antonio, Texas for five days last week. When there we went and visited the Natural Bridge Caverns and did two tours back to back, the second one had 185 stairs down and then the same back up. Which I did and was completely winded by but would never change a thing about it. Two days ago my sweetie was down with the flu...
Yesterday we went to a check up with my ob and when she did the sonigram the baby kicked the mike. It was so loud sounding when it happened. I laughed so hard, which was picked up as well by the mike. Each time the dr tried to pick up more of the heartbeat the baby kicked and I laughed...thankfully the dr found it hilarious as well and wasn't upset. Everything is going great with baby...need to contact my neurologist here in the cities to get an okay for myself for delivery day.
I am so happy...though fighting a cold, I enjoy each of the kicks and punches though I am sure that will get frustrating toward the end as they get firmer. But now I happy to know baby is happy and moving as the little one should. We are not going to find out the sex of the baby until it is born but that is just fine we are excited and enjoy talking to the baby all the time. We have two names figured out but no one is in the know until the day of birth. :)
I have been so busy and now I am going to be even more busy because I will be working with my sister-in-love to plan a baby shower for another sister-in-love. That is right I got a little niece in November and in April I will be having a little nephew, making it a total of four nephews and one neice, in the below age of six. My sweetie has several older nieces and nephews that I have come to enjoy getting to know but don't get to spoil as much as the younger ones. ;)
I can hardly wait until May but know that I will have it arrive before I am completely ready. I thought that an update is needed since it has been so long since the last one. Anyway time to head and work some more on the nest.
