Alright first and foremost last wed. the movies did arrive so the unnamed lady kept her word, which I vaguely doubted and now regret.
Now on to the rest of the news:
This past weekend I had a very quick trip down to Rockford to see family and friends. It was wonderful but too fast!
Friday we drove down to Rockford, first stopping in the Twin Cities to pick up David before continuing on the way to Rockford. Weather was fine for the trip making it an easy way. We got there around 8:20 or so in the evening. Grandma and Grandpa arrived home from a visitation shortly after and ordered some pizza and salad it was a wonderful time catching up, though I broke my one thing of pop a day to have with the pizza.
Saturday was a Bridal Shower thrown by my aunts to celebrate my upcoming wedding to David, in 38 days from now :)! I was spoiled by family and friends and had a fabulous time though overwhelming being the center of attention. Literally during the gift opening being center stage when they all sat around me and I was alone in front of the fireplace being asked questions before I could open a gift. But I got so much it and had a good time anyway it was wonderful. After the party wound down my aunt sue had a bunch of wedding stuff left over from her daughters' weddings that she is lending my mom and I to use for my wedding that will save us so much that we went up to gather from her attic while my dad and David put the gifts in the car. Family then gathered at Grandma and Grandpa's for Lasagna and more talking. Again OVERWHELMING is an understatement when it comes to my family but it was so much fun even if David and I hardly had any time what-so-ever together because of all the family. David got to meet one of my brothers and his wife which was fabulous! curious to their opinion of him...
Sunday was the trip back from Rockford. Through showers that were difficult to see through all the way to the Dells, but that I didn't notice since I napped against my love :) such a wonderful way to travel, did it on the way down to. We dropped David back off in the Cities much to his and my sorrow before continuing on home arriving around 9:45. Didn't head to bed until after midnight but *shrugs* had to wind down.
Monday was down with the after travel migraine that I had hoped to avoid with all the sleeping in the car, sadly it didn't happen.
Tuesday, as in today, I still have a migraine mostly do to nasty winter weather, aye it is still roaring lion weather here in upper Minnesota. Winter Storm Watch in affect with Icy Precipitation possible followed by snow, fun fun! NOT! lol! So I have spent the day working on my writing, ie writing my vows, my memorial poem for the grandparents, and my novels. I have also been working on painting the necessary coats on the card box before the sheer fabric goes on and trying to decide if I will do any designs on it to show beneath or not. Of course as usual I mixed just a bit too much paint but not as much as I have in the past thankfully. Saving it for something else to do with the wedding just don't know what yet, lol. Now I'm listening to Pandora Radio, writing in my blog for my followers few though they are and then it is back to my stories to be published at some far future date if my dream comes true...or perhaps reading someone else's already published work...so many choices...
Anyway many happy readings, listenings, and dreamings to those who read this...

the ultimate excuse
I have heard the ultimate excuse for unreturned DVDs this weekend. I was trying to get some dvds I had lent out a year or more ago from a friend that I will leave unnamed. While first she forgot she was supposed to meet me and David then said she would get the DVDs and bring them...a little later I get a phone call. Supposedly, and I can believe this because of the lady, her cats had dragged my dvds into their litter box and ruined them. So she ordered me new ones that shall be here on wed. She works for Amazon and gets free Amazon Premium we shall see if the movies arrive as promised. I hope they do they are some of my faves. Anyway had to share that excuse...

In Like a Lion...
So March is here...yes it is the 12th technically so two weeks in but tonight the wind is roaring loudly and making me think of the statement of March coming in like a lion and out like a lamb...I pray that it will be so this year because I want spring to be here long before my wedding day. Thought we were going to have an early spring this year HAHA what was I really thinking! I mean come on Upper Minnesota have an early spring! *shakes head* ah well. We are in the midst of a blizzard with howling winds and blowing billowing snow. It was hard even for dad to head out to let Abby out of the garage for the last time tonight and she just looked at him and the weather and back sorta like "are you nuts?" even though she is a dog she can master that look it is very amusing. If the weather is in anyway bad, snow or rain, she will not step out in it Abby is a picky puppy when it comes to getting her paws messy. LOL!
I welcomed March in with Bronchitis Yippe...*insert sarcasm dripping here* not the way I want to spend the start of the last two full months for planning and pulling together the wedding. Not to mention it makes for a very very crappy week and I was needed to support over the phone David who was having an Even worse week than I was. Might think Bronchitis that is pretty bad to be having...but he had a bad week...trust me...
So still fighting that...and now dealing with a blizzard and praying that March will leave like a Lamb...really hoping things will ease on out from now on...please Lord let things ease on out from now on!
Wedding plans are going well. God is providing when things are looking desperate, never doubt the power of desperate prayers! I have learned that this week. We were able to sell the piano which will help with the flowers as my parents were hoping, I found out that I got a REFUND from my last University for an unknown reason of over $200.00 that I can use to help pay for the cake that we are getting, and all out of the power of desperate prayer. We are getting down to the last things that are needed to be bought. Now things that are being DIYed need to be assembled, gifts for VIPs wrapped, Vows written yes David and I are writing our own vows but picking out some just in case, songs picked for the processional, payments made, and many other hundreds of things that will be thought of between now and April 29th at 6pm...it is approaching so fast I am so excited! yay! 48 days! *happy dance* so far weight has gone from 203 down to 150 at a stalemate with that but have been working out to tone up so that things are a little firmer. Everything is going great now if the WINTER WOULD JUST GO AWAY!!!!! LOL! but even I can't control the weather.
Happy reading and writing to everyone. And Happy weekend!
